Introduction

Plymouth College is a co-educational day and boarding school for students aged between 3 - 18 years.

We are a non-selective school, although all applicants are asked to sit an entrance test in English and Mathematics for setting purposes for entry to the Senior School.

In addition to full boarding, offered from Year 7, weekly and occasional boarding are available. Of our 520 students, 160 are boarders. We welcome applications from overseas students and currently have students from 40 countries attending the school. We hope that our website will give you a good introduction to Plymouth College and that it will encourage you to visit the school - so that you can fully appreciate all that we have to offer.

Entrance to Plymouth College Senior School is typically at Years 7, 9, 11 (for the one year pre-Sixth Form) and the Lower Sixth.

It may be possible for students to enter the school at other times, if a place is available.

To ensure your child's entry is as smooth as possible the Registrars are here to help you anything you may need.

Mrs Fiona Harvey manages the boarding and overseas students and Mr Nicholas Michie Carr looks after the day student
