The College boasts two Deputy Directors of Swimming in Robin Armayan and Matt Bell B.A. (Hons). Robin has coached in both France and Australia and had a successful period at the helm of Pool Swimming Club before joining us in Plymouth. Matt leads on our Sports Science and Sports Medicine Programme and is an important contributor in the gym and in leading the integrated Sports Science programme.

Dan Waddingham B.Sc, Claudia Coleman, Davi Ferreira, Matt Stacey, Aaron Rickhuss and Steven Beckerleg complete our fulltime professional coaching team, arguably making this the most dynamic and exciting coaching group operating under one roof in Great Britain today.

“As a former prep school coach, I can identify with all of the great things that a school environment can bring to a swimming team. I can see the careful care and attention that you and your staff bring to the children and I know what a great difference you have made to their lives. In my mind, you have perhaps the best set up in the UK for developing such swimmers and I know of your desire to take your athletes through to the final step.

” Chris Martin, former Great Britain Development Coach
