Card Club

An enjoyable way to wind down after a full day’s learning!

This club is open to all who are keen to find a creative outlet free from the rigours of academic expectations. It's all about having a go at trying out new ideas.

We have a varied programme which is largely dependent on the specific interests and requests of the students who sign up. In the past, we have tried the following card making techniques: iris folding; rubber stamping; embossing; decoupage and paper layering. We have also created card toppers using embroidery techniques; made origami boxes; had a fun cake decorating session and made our own bunting.

The Card and Craft Club has made cards to sell to raise money for 'The Banana Tree Project' which the school supports. This coming year, we have plans to try an even larger variety of craft projects. Regardless of what we try, and the degree of success we encounter, those who attend Card and Craft Club are able to relax whilst making something they can take home at the end.
