Basketball

Plymouth College play in Plymouth Leagues and National Schools Competitions at both junior and senior level.

The Senior Squad train on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings (7am-8am) and train with junior squads on Friday (3.45pm-5pm). Most home fixtures are held on Wednesday and Fridays.

Players start by representing Plymouth College, talented students moving on to Plymouth Raiders Development Side (who play in regional or national leagues). From here players then get invited to South West Training camps, which can be held anywhere within the South West of England. Successful players can then selected for national sides.

Charles Connaris has been a key member of Plymouth College Senior Basketball Team for a number of years. He has played and captained The University of St Mark and St John under 18s, represented Devon and the South West of England at under 18s level and been part of Plymouth Raiders Academy Senior Squad.

Whilst playing at South West level, he has played in Belguim, Estonia, Sweden and Poland. He is hoping to continue with basketball by going to America to play in the National Collegiate Athletic Association basketball programme.

Plymouth College Under 18s reached the last 8 in the Dynamik National schools competition
