Entrepreneurial Society

Want to be one of Britain's Great Entrepreneurs?

There's no reason why you shouldn't be –now you've got the chance to learn how. Plymouth College Entrepreneurial Society (ESOC) provides the opportunity to meet and learn from some of the country's most well-known business men and women.

Each month we have inspiring leaders to come and talk to those of you who have joined ESOC. There's the chance for you to grill the great and the good – and what's more there are often opportunities to win work experience in their companies.

So do you fancy working with Levi Roots?

Or see the workings of Westminster at close hand shadowing Gary Streeter MP in the Houses of Parliament?

Or do you want to know that there's more than pulling pints at Wetherspoons. Tim Martin – founder and multimillionaire businessman has offered one of you the opportunity to work at his company.

These are just some of the people who have already spoken to the ESOC and the opportunities with their companies are up for grabs for the right student.

In the next few months Sunday Times Rich List local businessman Chris Dawson will be at the school, as will James Brent and a whole range of other speakers whose calibre and drive make them stand out as brilliant people in their field.

It doesn’t end there! We are collaborating with a number of multinational companies including Wrigley's, Burts Potato Chips and Princess International Yachts all to ensure that enterprise is brought to life in an applied and stimulating way.

The ESOC organises seminars, practical workshops, networking events, competitions and trips to cutting edge companies.

Our mission is to provide an environment and platform which stimulates you, our students, to thrive and reach your maximum potential by providing inspiration, education, challenge, networking and the chance to learn the skills and mind-sets needed to succeed in not only business - but in life.

We want you to find your talent, harness your creative mind and get you to step out of your comfort zone ready for the future, globalised world we live in.
