Cooking classes are available as part of the Friday afternoon Enrichment Programme. Led by a professional chef, the senior students are led through the basics of sauces and pastry to rather more ambitious curries, spaghetti bolognaise, cakes and pasta dishes.

The aim is to give students the confidence to cook and experiment in preparation for life at university and beyond. The ultimate challenge is for the students to prepare a meal for their family and friends without worrying the Health Centre.
