“I joined Plymouth College back in 2010, at the age of 13. Those five years in boarding were the best five years of my life. The boarding staff were amazing but most importantly the other swimmers I lived with; I met some amazing people and made unbreakable friendships. I achieved so much with the help from the swimming coaches and was able to represent my country at the 2012 Olympics and other international meets.
Being in such an environment also taught me to be more independent and punctual in keeping time, which I’m sure I’ll find very useful in the future.”
