The U14 girls hosted Devonport High School for Girls for a netball match on Tuesday.  Captained by Alice Tustain, the team worked hard throughout the match.  The first quarter was all square at four goals apiece, after some important turnovers by Plymouth late in the quarter.  The second quarter saw DHSG build a five-goal advantage, mostly due to their incredibly tall goal defence making it hard for our shooters to shoot, but also due to some sloppy passing from our players.  The third and final quarter for the U14s was again a close affair, but they were unable to claw the goals back, and the result was 8 - 14 in favour of DHSG.  Alice Tustin was voted player of the match, and Charlotte Harris was also very influential in turning over the ball in the Plymouth College defence.

The U15 team then took over the fixture, along with a couple of U14 players for another two quarters.  Captained by Talia Sullivan, the girls worked very hard to reduce the deficit, turning over plenty of balls in the defence only to be blocked from shooting again by the tall DHSG player.  Sloppy passing and moving for periods of play by both sides resulted in low scoring quarters, with the U15 result being 2 - 7.  The overall result was 21 - 10 to DHSG.
