Plymouth College Staff Achievements

Plymouth College is delighted to announce two very impressive staff achievements over the summer holidays.

Congratulations to our Director of Modern Pentathlon and Fencing, Rob Flack, on his amazing performance in Ireland last month, winning his age category & qualifying for the 2019 World Ironman 70.3 Championships - such an inspiration to all the athletes he trains.

Well done also to Darren Hawken, Assistant Director of Music and Head of Year 10, who became a Bard of Cornwall on Saturday 1^st September 2018. This is a very prestigious award, fondly known as a ‘Cornish Knighthood’, awarded for his services to music in Cornwall.  He is one of the youngest Bards to be granted this honour.

We are proud of all our staff’s achievements, as not only do they stand as a huge inspiration to our pupils, but the expertise gained outside of the College brings added value to the pupils’ experience, both inside and outside the classroom.
