Congratulations to OPM, Paddy Hutchings, who attended the RS Aero World championships from the 4th-10th of August in Weymouth National Sailing Academy. There were 200 boats from 20 nations competing, with Paddy finishing 48th overall and 8th overall in the Youths. Paddy said: 'I was happy with how I did, with lots of learning and I’m looking forward to the Aerocup at the end of September!’
In addition to his sailing success, Paddy also achieved an impressive set of A level results: three A’s in Economics, Geography and Mathematics. Paddy is currently taking a Gap Year which will certainly be full of more exciting adventures! We are wishing him the best of luck in his upcoming sailing competition and in his future endeavours!
