Year 9 had an assembly from the Polish National Foundation this morning, about Polish history and the new 70 ft Polish yacht 'I Love Poland’. Plymouth has been chosen as one of the destinations for the sailing and cultural debut of the ‘I Love Poland’ yacht and it has been welcomed to Mayflower Marina this week.
The ‘I Love Poland’ yacht is an educational and sporting project funded by the Polish National Foundation. Whilst in Plymouth, the crew will be undertaking a variety of vibrant educational visits to promote Polish culture and history. Plymouth College would like to thank the Polish National Foundation for their brilliant assembly, and for the books that they kindly gifted to our library to help our pupils further their knowledge about this important part of history.
