Success for Plymouth College at Devon Cross Country Championships

13 Plymouth College students competed at the Devon Cross Country Championships at Stover School this weekend. Recent rain made for typical cross country conditions, but the sun shone and made for a pleasant but challenging run. Plymouth College had 6 students qualify for the SW Championships and English School Championships including 4 podium finishers. Chloe Olford was 3rd Senior Girl, Megan Shorey and Annabel Denton were 2nd and 3rd in the Intermediate Girls respectively and Year 7 Molly Shorey won her race in an exciting sprint finish where she overtook from 2nd place to win the race. Well done to all for a brilliant performance!
