Young artists of the year

Plymouth College artists have made it a clean sweep in the Plymouth Rotary Young Artist of the Year competition.

The Years 7-9 category was won by Natasha Marler (bottom), the Years 10 and 11 by Issy Soole (top) and the Seniors by Olivia Wyman (middle). Amy Blake and Dario Ordi took 2nd and 3rd place respectively in the Senior Competition and a further seven pupils were Highly Commended across the age groups.

Run by Plymouth Rotary, the competition showcased artwork completed by Plymouth school pupils in the last year. Prizes were awarded by the Lord Mayor at a ceremony at Plymouth College of Art and included an exhibition of artwork.
