Team honours for Prep athletes in St Petroc’s Cross Country

Plymouth College Preparatory School’s U11 and U9 cross country teams have come back from St Petroc’s School’s annual cross country event with a clutch of trophies. 

The U11 boys’ team came first with all six boys finishing in the top 20. Nearly 70 runners took part in the race. The team were:

With a similar number of competitors, the U11 girls weren’t far behind taking 2^nd place in their race. The team were:

Joanna Sells           41^st

Both the boys and the girls’ U9 teams came 3^rd. They were:

Taking place on the cliff tops at Bude, 20 schools and nearly 250 children took part in the competition. The Years 3 and 4 pupils completed a 900m course while Years 5 and 6 ran 1600m.
