National Ballet for young dancer

Plymouth College Preparatory School pupil, Lydia Barnes, has been offered a place with the English Youth Ballet for their production of Coppelia in April 2016. 

Lydia won her place after auditioning at the Princess Theatre in Torquay. She will be dancing alongside professional ballerinas in their three performances in Torquay.

The talented Year 5 dancer attended the Royal Ballet Junior Associate Day at Dartington Hall earlier this year. Lydia was one of 20 dancers from the South West to have a 2-hour class with a Royal Ballet Associate teacher.
