Year 3 and 4 take to the water in swimming gala

The Prep School children from Years 3 and 4 had a splashing time at their swimming gala held in the Senior School’s 25m pool.

Every race was a full length of the pool and all children took part in at least two races each. There were events in freestyle, backstroke, breast stroke, 4 by 1 relays and a raft race. Each event had a float-supported alternative for swimmers who needed a bit of help.

The swimming gala is one of the school’s House competitions. Downton came out on top, Pusey in 2^nd place, Wantage 3^rd and Sellon 4th.
