Hands on learning down at the Farm ...
Held at the The Granary Farm School - Mount Tamar Tencreek Farm, Liskeard, the day consisted of five sessions from a variety of occupations within the agricultural industry: Environmental Influences in Farming; Veterinary; Animal Husbandry, Agronomist; Farm Diversification. The day was very much hands on. For example, it involved students supporting veterinary work on the farm, including the castration of cattle. The day was for part of the Year 9 Career’s Workshop Day, and the students all thoroughly enjoyed it!
