Activities Wellbeing

Whilst we know that our Home Learning Plan is incredibly important to pupils' education, we have also created activities in order to look after mental health and wellbeing. We have had our Plymouth College Self-Care Challenge, yoga from The Wellbeing Hub and a range of physical activities during tutor time:

Self-Care Challenge

This week saw the start of our #PMCSelfCareChallenge! We have had a plethora of daily activities that have been set by various members of our school staff and even by the creators of Skodel, a wellbeing platform that all of our pupils can access at any point. We've had activities such as:

  • Setting goals
  • Setting a morning achievement
  • Writing down your proudest achievement of 2020
  • Taking a walk
  • Journalling
  • Plus loads more!

Keep an eye out on our social media channels where our daily self care activity will be posted!

Yoga from The Wellbeing Hub

This week, Zoe from The Wellbeing Hub has provided us with a 20 minute yoga session that can be done from the comfort of your own home! For anyone who hasn't received the email with the link from Mr Mutlow, here is the latest yoga session:

Tutor Time Challenges

During tutor times this week, there have been a range of challenges set by our teachers, including the push-up challenge set by Mrs Lilley in her tutor group. Congratulations to Reuben Hart who was the winner with 43, Ruby Wheeler 2nd with 42, Finn Broekhoven with 40 and Mrs Lilley with a whopping 36!
