‘Five have fun in Kingsbridge was the title of this year’s Plymouth College Junior School summer production.
- Joel Perchais
Pupils, staff and parents at Plymouth College Junior School are mourning the loss of a much loved teacher and colleague, Mr Joel Perchais. Joel, 56, who has taught French and Information Technology at the school since 1974, passed away at the weekend after battling with cancer.
- Christmas Boxes for Troops
Boxes of food and treats will be winging their way to 40 Commando in Afghanistan this Christmas, courtesy of pupils at Plymouth College Junior School.
- Families for Children
Plymouth College Junior School pupil, Eleanor Newcombe aged 9, has raised £112.32 for Families for Children. A Christian charity, the voluntary adoption agency places children from all over the UK with stable loving families in Devon, Cornwall and Dorset.
- New Headmaster
Chris Gatherer, 49, has been appointed Headmaster of Plymouth College Junior School. He has been Acting Headmaster since October 2007 and was Deputy Head for ten years.
