Reception conduct an archaeological dig in school sandpit - 7/4/09

An excavation of the school sandpit by Reception classes unearthed a number of ‘dinosaurs’.

 

Using props such as magnifying glasses to help with their search, the children set about identifying each ‘dinosaur’ they found by looking it up in a book.

 

The activity was one of a number of classes in which they learnt about prehistoric life.
