Wembury brings the seashore to life for Year 1 - 15/10/09
Published: 15 October, 2009
As part of their Science work the Year 1 children enjoyed a
lovely day rockpooling on Wembury Beach. Hemish wrote this account
all about our trip...
"On Friday we all went for a rockpool ramble at Wembury. I found
two prawns and a cushion starfish and a shore crab. We had a picnic
on the beach and then we went to the Marine centre. At the Marine
Centre there was a big fish tank. There was a goby and a blenny in
it. We all had a good time."
The children learned a great deal about seashore life and the
seashore code and everyone had great fun.
