French breakfast hits the spot for Reception - 25/1/10

Despite the cold and snowy weather, Reception classes made it into school and ended the first week of term by turning their classroom into a French Café. 

Sitting down for breakfast they had croissants, pain au chocolat, French bread, ham, Brie, Camembert, hot chocolate and orange juice. 

The children learnt the words for the food they ate and to say 'yes', 'please' and 'no thank you' in French.
