Enhancing learning though popcorn!

Year 2 and Kindergarten were able to share in each other's lessons just before half term in a fun session involving popcorn!

As part of their science lesson, the children in Year 2 were learning about the story of corn: from seed, to soil, to harvest, to market. A highlight of the lesson was making and eating popcorn.

The children were able to share their learning with the younger pupils in the Kindergarten, who were busy building a 'cinema' so, of course, popcorn was very welcome! The older pupils also read Kindergarten a short story about corn.
