Prep pupils take to the stage in festival

Acting, verse speaking and bible reading are just some of the
classes Plymouth College Preparatory School pupils competed in at
this year's Plymouth Speech and Drama Festival. About forty Prep
pupils took part with everyone achieving Merit or above.
In the 7 Years Solo Verse Speaking section, Megan Shorey and
Phoebe Burridge took 2nd and 3rd place
respectively. Arpitha Abraham won the 8 Years class, Lauren
Hession and Hannah Kelly came 2nd and 3rd in
the 9 Years section. Tegan Drew and Srisudhan Sudhaker won
the 10 Years and 11 Years categories.
Zöe Lancaster and Lydia Smith shared 3rd place in the
Novice Verse Speaking class while Isabella Charlesworth and George
Hadjiyiannakis came 2nd and 3rd in the 13
Years and Under Lyrical Verse. Tegan Drew came 1st
in the Sight Reading Under 12 Years section with Charlotte Treharne
in 3rd place. In the Under 12 Bible Reading class
Isabella Charlesworth came 1st, Charlotte Treharne
2nd and Olivia Tanner and Mariam Bihnam shared
3rd place.
