    The Plymouth College Combined Cadet Force has had its biennial inspection. Aged between 14 and 18, the male and female cadets were inspected by Wing Commander Guy Bazalgette RAF, Senior British Officer, Joint Maritime Facility St Mawgan, on the school’s parade ground.

    Plymouth College pupils are celebrating this morning with ten gaining at least ten A or A* grades at GCSE. One pupil clinched 12 top grades and another came away with 11.

    Plymouth College pupils are celebrating this morning with nine picking up at least three A grades at A Level – four of these students gained four grade As. The overall pass rate for Plymouth College is 96%, with an A/B pass rate of 59%. Nearly a third of passes were at grade A.

    Cassie Patten, 21, a former swimming scholar at Plymouth College, has received official notification of her place on the GB team for 800m freestyle in Beijing. She qualified after coming second in the required time in the Olympic trials for 800m freestyle a couple of weeks ago.
