Channel 4 advisory panel for Plymouth College pupil - 9/7/10

Harry Ross, 17, is one of just 11 young people from across the UK to be appointed to the 4Talent Youth Advisory Panel.  The group has the opportunity to shape the direction of Channel 4's Kick Start initiative, which supports and nurtures talented young people at the start of their careers and offers invaluable work experience in the media industry.

After attending an inspiration day, where he took part in a range of interactive sessions and engaged with a number of media professionals, Harry went through a series applications and an interview in London before being selected to the panel.

"This is a really exciting opportunity", said Harry.  "I am keen to pursue a career in the media and being part of this initiative is going to give me invaluable experience and contacts".

Locally Harry is a Plymouth Theatre Royal Young Ambassador.
