Floating bunkhouse is base for CCF camp

A recent field trip saw Plymouth College CCF afloat at Dartmouth next to the Royal Naval College. Retired mine hunter, HMS Hindostan, provided bunk accommodation and a base for the visit.

During the two-day camp, cadets were kept busy with a try dive in the college pool, powerboating on the river Dart, leadership exercises, a mini assault course and, on the last day, a visit to the Royal Navy's ice patrol ship HMS Protector. Everyone enjoyed themselves and many want to gain more experience in the activities that they tried out.
