Eden Project is inspiration for art students

Year 10 art students returned from a visit to the Eden Project
filled with ideas for their Natural Forms project. Those who
survived the thermal shock of minus 2 outside followed
by the tropical bio-dome climate, acquired a wide range of
photographs and sketches to use in the development of this
unit.
Annie Cobbold and Abi Psaras said: "We went to the Eden Project
to start off our new topic 'Natural Forms'. We took
photos and sketches to help with our research. We enjoyed
strolling around the biomes and eating ice-cream.
We found the day great fun and very constructive. We all
really enjoyed it."
Alana West and Olivia Wyman said: "During our visit to the Eden
Project we saw the magnificent 'Seed' sculpture by Peter
Randall-Page and visited the Tropical Biome. It was very
hot but we saw a variety of flowers and plants, it was a very good
day."
Rebecca Frost and Phoebe Thompson said: "At the Eden Project we
walked around looking at man-made and natural forms for our new
project. We made drawings and took photographs of the
plants. We explored the 'Cloud Dome' which is
a hollow sculpture made of stacked up stones by Chris Drury."
