Karting team are through to next round of British championships

The Plymouth College karting team took the runners-up spot in the British Schools Karting Championships in Exeter.   Team member, Harry Cobbold, reports...

Just before half term Plymouth College's first karting team (Harry Cobbold, Wesley Foster and Toby Hall) went to Exeter to participate in the first round of the British Schools Karting Championships. The evening included some extremely close racing with Plymouth making the most of some unfortunate grid draws.

Racing predominantly from the back of the field, the team scored three first places and three second places, drawing equal on points with Torquay Boys' Grammar School A, but coming second overall due to less wins.

The team now progresses to the regional finals on the 10th March at Thruxton.
