Prep competes in first Quadkids - 9/6/10

Plymouth College Preparatory School took a team of athletes from Years 5 and 6 to compete in a new-style athletics competition, Quadkids.

Competing against Kelly Prep and Blundell's Prep, each team member (seven boys and seven girls) had to take part in four events - 80m sprint, throwing the cricket ball, 900m and the long jump.  Points were awarded for each competitor's times and distances.

Harmony Rump did extremely well coming 3rd overall for the girls.  John Alao also did well coming 4th in the boys' event.

The final score placed Blundell's in first position, Plymouth College 2nd and Kelly 3rd.
