Modern Pentathlon scholar, Harriet Mitchell (Year 8), has come
second in the British Pentathlon Championships. Competing in
the Youth D Girls category, Harriet secured PBs in shooting,
fencing and swimming and scored a clear round in riding. She
was just outside her PB in the 1 km run.
The event in Solihul saw the best club and school athletes in
the country take part, including 19 girls in Harriet's age
group.
Earlier this summer Harriet became the South East Pentathlon
champion and last year she took silver in the South West Triathlon
Championships.
