Silver and bronze medals for cross country runners

Year 8 pupils, Poppy Tank and Emily Ackford, have won silver and bronze medals respectively in the Devon Cross Country Championships.  Held in Exeter, more than 30 girls raced the 3000m course in the U13 girls' category.

With very clear margins over the rest of the field, both girls are hoping to be selected for Devon in the South West Inter Counties Championships taking place in early January.
