Kevin is Devon table tennis champion

Year 9 pupil, Kevin Vandabona, 14, has beaten 70 table tennis players from across the county to win the Devon U16 Schools Table Tennis Championships held at Eggbuckland Community College.

Kevin's county victory comes just two months after taking the top spot in the U15 Band 1section of the Bribar East Midlands 4 Star Table Tennis Tournament.

Kevin started playing table tennis when he was ten years old and practices at home with his Dad.  He was named Plymouth & District Table Tennis League Junior Player of the Month late last year and is a member of a Sunday club in Eggbuckland.
