Cricket coaching at Plymouth College has had a big boost this
season with the introduction of a Kanon ball-feeding machine.
The training aid has been paid for by Plymouth College's Parents'
Association.
"The Kanon has already been put to excellent use in our One2One
winter coaching programme and games lessons, enabling young players
to grove their cricket shots and improve their fielding and wicket
keeping", said Plymouth College Head of Cricket, Jonathan Mears.
"The hockey department has also seen the fun and benefits of using
it in specialist goal-keeping workshops. We are very grateful to
the Parents' Association for their very kind generosity".
Parents Paul McEleny and Jo Mulberry officially handed over the
machine to Jonathan Mears and 1st XI team member, Pasi
Mawalage.
