Silver medals for Plymouth College athletes

Year 8 athletes, Poppy Tank and Emily Ackford, have both won silver medals in the Devon County Track and Field Championships.

Poppy claimed silver in the 1500m with a new PB of 4 minutes 59 seconds.  She also won silver in the 800m.  Emily picked up her silver medal by coming second in the 3000m.

The girls run in the U15 category but are only 13 years old.  This makes their achievement all the more significant because they often compete against athletes that are a year older.
