Devon Cricket team for Pierce

Pierce Widdecombe, 11, has had a successful season playing for the U11 Devon Cricket Team.

Highlights of the season were being 77 not out against Cornwall and winning the Taunton Festival.  Pierce played in all but two county matches and he only missed those because he broke his finger!

Pierce is also a rising tennis star, ranked in the top 20 in the county in the U12 age group.  He reached the singles quarter finals of the Newquay Open and the boys doubles quarter finals of the Penzance Open.

He has just moved from the Prep School to Year 7 of the Senior School, where he is looking forward to continuing his sporting activities.
