Published: 26 October, 2011
Plymouth College 1st XV are on track to emulate the
phenomenal success of the 2010 season, recording just one loss as
they reach the half way point of the 2011 season.
The team have played seven matches with wins against QEH,
King's Taunton, Truro, Shebbear (Devon Cup), Exeter School (Devon
Cup) and Blundell's. Their only loss was against Llandovery
College, a specialist rugby school.
Last year the team won the Devon Cup and reached the quarter
finals of the Daily Mail Cup, where they suffered their only loss
of the season to eventual winners and rugby heavy-weights, Whitgift
School.
This season the team is sponsored by Plymouth-based Pro Design,
a subsidiary of Westcountry Paper.
