Devon squad for hockey player

Plymouth College hockey player, Ella Ellis, 12, has been selected for the U14 Devon Junior Academy Centre (JAC) Hockey Squad.

Ella was assessed over a number of sessions at the Junior Development Centre (JDC) before being picked to attend county trials.  Over the next couple of months she will attend regular training sessions in Exeter and hopes to be one of 16 chosen to play at the West JAC Tournament in the Spring.

A member of the Plymouth College U12 team, Ella has played hockey since she was at junior school and has been a member of Plymouth Hockey Club for nearly two years.

"I love playing hockey and I'm really pleased to have made the JAC squad", said Ella.  "Hopefully I will continue to play well as it would be great to get chosen for the tournament."
