The Preparatory School is holding Open Door Days this term on Wednesday 16th and Thursday 17th June. Visitors can drop in any time between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., have a tour and see the school on a normal working day, as well as meet the Headmaster, teachers and pupils. They will be able to find out more about the school's great academic record and all-round education on offer, as well as receive information about the bus service and free aftercare facility. The school holds its main Open Morning on a Saturday in March (2011 date TBC) when visitors can take a tour of the school and see classroom displays, sport demonstrations, music performances and other activities. The Senior School is holding an Open Morning on Saturday 9th October 2010 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. During the event pupils will take visitors on school tours where they can see interactive science displays, drama performances, sports demonstrations and even sample European cuisine in the Euro Café. As well as meeting the pupils, the Headmaster and teaching staff will also on hand to talk about all aspects of school life. The Senior School holds a Sixth Form Open Evening in early February (2011 date TBC). The event takes place in the Sixth Form Centre, where visitors can drop in to find out more about A Level options and the International Baccalaureate Diploma. Prospective students can talk to teaching staff and current sixth formers to find out what sixth form life is really like at Plymouth College. Refreshments are served in the bistro.
