Residential
Ford Park
College House is a row of Victorian villas with three houses for
the boys containing approximately 50 beds and three houses for
girls with about 40 beds. The bedrooms are very homely and range
from one to four beds per room. Each room has plenty of storage and
a desk for personal study. There are no en-suite rooms but there
are plenty of bathroom facilities throughout the houses.
On the ground floor of both the boys and girls sides there are a
range of activity rooms with TV, video and DVD facilities, pool and
table tennis, pianos, computers with free internet access and quiet
rooms for relaxing. Each side also has a pay phone and its own
kitchen for making drinks and snacks.
We provide all bedding and bed linen for visitors but not
towels. An in-house laundry service for personal items can be
arranged.
The Millfields
Captain's House was formerly part of the Royal Naval Hospital
and can sleep up to 50 people in twin or single rooms. The bedrooms
are in four wings on two floors and each room has its own basin -
there are plenty of shower/bathroom facilities throughout the
house. Each floor has a kitchen for making drinks and snacks and
there are various common rooms with TV and games facilities. Other
facilities include a washing machine/dryer, pay phones and
computers with free internet access. Bedding and bed linen is
provided although guests must bring their own towels.
Catering
Meals are served in the dining halls at both sites and are
prepared by our friendly and experienced catering team. The food is
of a very high standard and menus can be arranged to suit your
tastes.
Over the years we have had a wide range of different groups
staying with us in the holidays. Some have just had bed and
breakfast accommodation while others have had full catering and
taken advantage of our classroom, drama and sports facilities. For
this reason we will work with you to put together a package that
suits your needs.
