Swimming Camp
We have been running camps since 2002. Designed for competitive swimmers aged 9 to 14, the Swimming Development Camp is run by nationally-renowned coaches Jon Rudd and Amanda Booth, who are also head coaches of Plymouth Leander. In addition, Jon has been the Plymouth College Director of Swimming since 2006 and manages the school's elite Swimming Programme.
The camp runs for three days and is a mix of pool, land and classroom sessions, using our first-class swimming and fitness facilities. The camp is split into two groups depending on age and ability to ensure that all swimmers get the most out of the camp. All pool and land training sessions are based on the principles and practices of the World Class Potential and Start programmes.
This year's camp will run 28th to 30th December 2010 and is non-residential. The cost is £150 and includes refreshments and a buffet lunch each day. The menu is specially created to ensure all the right nutritional needs for swimmers are satisfied.
