Art

The Art Department has, as its principal aim, the development of children's self expression, whilst experiencing the following well recognised areas:

  • Drawing
  • Understanding Art Design
  • Painting
  • Printing
  • Modelling and Constructing

The programme of study is such that nothing is left out. The younger children work with their class teachers, whilst from the age of 9 years upwards, they have their lessons in the main art room. There are various extra curricular art clubs and children have the opportunity to experience candle making, oil painting, needlework and various other crafts.

Picture of the Week is by Emma Fullalove  (above right).
