Preparatory School Parents' Association

Welcome to the Parents and Friends of the Preparatory School . We will be keeping this page up to date to keep you informed with future events and to give you feedback on events after they have happened.

The Friends of the Preparatory School Association is extremely active, supporting the school in many fund-raising activities and social events.

Our current committee is as follows:

  • Chairperson - Fay Newcombe
  • Vice Chair - Louise Barnes
  • Secretary - Sharon Short
  • Treasurer - Nicola Lancaster

As a parent of a child at the Prep School you are automatically a member of the Friends' Association.

We have about six informal meetings during the academic year to plan social and fund-raising events. Every parent is welcome to come along to these meetings. All the money we raise goes towards providing facilities or equipment for the benefit of the pupils and the school.

We continue this year with more events and fund-raising functions to organise for both the children and parents. None of these are possible without support from the parents and the friends of the school. Details of the events for 2009/2010 are available from School reception and details are included in weekly newsletters.
