Facilities

Plymouth College's traditional exteriors house the very latest in modern equipment and technology such as specialist ICT suites, classrooms with interactive whiteboards and newly-refurbished science laboratories. The impressive assembly hall has a stage with state-of-the-art sound and lighting equipment, and the purpose-built music suite has its own recording studio. The Sixth Form Centre offers both private study and informal communal areas including a popular bistro.

A large sports hall plays host to a variety of activities such as netball, badminton, basketball and indoor cricket to name but a few. There is a 25 metre indoor swimming pool, two squash courts, weights room and cardio-vascular suite. A wooden-floor gymnasium contains a climbing wall and the school has its own indoor rifle-range.

Outside the extensive grounds boast a number of areas including a sports field, astro pitch, hard court and canopy-covered quad, which is used for recreational and performance purposes. The boarding houses, a row of Victorian villas with the Housemaster's Residence in the middle, are also within the school site.

The school has its own outdoor pursuits centre on Dartmoor.
