The Medical Centre
The Medical Centre is situated in Wedgwood Villas. It is open Monday to Friday from 8.30 am to 5.00 pm and staffed by trained nurses. If a nurse is not available cover is provided by a first aider.
The School Nurses and School Doctor are responsible for the health of the boarders and the Nurse is available to see boarders at 8.15 in College House.
Health checks, surgeries for the boarders with the School Doctor/Nurse Practitioner, tetanus, diphtheria and polio vaccinations, and full First Aid facilities, including areas to lie down, are provided. The nurses are available for confidential advice and general treatments to all pupils. They also care for pupils with any medical problems or disabilities. A counselor can be available for both day and boarding pupils. Appointments for this facility are made by the School Nurse.
