Plymouth College made the journey to Shebbear looking to complete an undefeated season. With a couple of regulars out of the side, it was a different line-up which took the field, and this showed in the first 10 minutes as the hosts adapted better to the wet conditions. Indeed, with Plymouth College struggling to settle, Shebbear were able to capitalise and take an early 1-0 lead. As the half wore on, Plymouth College established more of a foothold, and an excellent piece of build-up play allowed Harry Knape to restore parity. Despite the goal, however, Shebbear continued to dominate in midfield and were first to the 50/50s, and this enabled them to re-establish the lead before the break.

Halftime provided a chance for a tactical change for Plymouth College, having crowded the midfield and pressed more aggressively they began to see greater results in the second half. Harris Habib and Oscar Boyhan Irvine began to harass the opposition, and after a good bit of defensive work, Jake Favis was able to slide Knape in. The latter duly rounded the keeper and slotted home his second to level the scores. What followed was a period of madness, with Plymouth College allowing Shebbear to score two more goals through defensive lapses to leave themselves two goals down with six minutes to play. Cometh the hour, cometh the man - Harris Habib. With an unbeaten season on the line, Habib first lobbed the keeper with an audacious effort from 35 yards, before prodding home from a corner with the last kick of the game to ensure a share of the spoils and protect the unbeaten run.

Thanks to all boys involved in the U15 team this term - it has been a pleasure.

Mr Mutlow.
