Gemma Kerr, Lower Sixth, was selected to play for the Devon Junior team (U18) in the Table Tennis County Championships. They are currently 1 of the 8 teams in the Premier division. Gemma played very well and won 10 out of her 12 games. As a team they finished 5th and so have secured a place in the premier division again for next year.
Gemma also played the Cardiff Grand Prix, a senior event. On Saturday she played two events, finishing 4th in band 1 and 2nd in band 2. She played amazingly.
On Sunday she played in the senior ladies open and U21’s. Again, Gemma was on top form and got to the quarter finals in the ladies open and came 2nd in the U21’s. A lot of tough matches but very well played.
Most recently, Gemma competed in the Plymouth 2* competition and won the girls U18 event.
