Success for Millie Andrews at the National Elite Epee Junior Series Event

This weekend, Year 8 fencer, Millie Andrews, took a Bronze Medal at the first National Elite Epee Junior Series Event of the year at Millfield School.

Competing in the under 14 Girls Epee category, Mille had four victories in the poule fights to be seeded 10th going into the Direct Elimination rounds.

A comfortable 15 - 3 win took Millie into the top 16 and a further two wins of 15 -13 and 15- 12 ensured a podium finish with a place in the semi-final where she claimed the Bronze Medal.
