Former Plymouth College pupil, Leonard Cook, made his West End debut recently in The Play That Goes Wrong.

Leonard, 22, took on the role of Jonathan for three performances at the Duchess Theatre in London. He also took on the role of Trevor for a couple of shows and is due to play the Inspector on 21 and 22 November.

Described as Fawlty Towers meets Noises Off, The Play That Goes Wrong is the smash hit new comedy for 2014.  The Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society production is a 1920s murder mystery, but as the title suggests, everything that can go wrong... does. The accident-prone thespians battle against all odds to make it through to their final curtain call, with hilarious consequences!

Leonard featured in a number of Plymouth College productions including Canterbury Tales, For the Love of Three Oranges and was the lead in Macbeth - the 2007 Year Book noted that he delivered 'a captivating performance'.  Leonard went on to study performing arts at City College Plymouth, before winning a place at LAMDA.
