Parent, Mr Eadie, gave a fascinating talk to Year 2 children about how to be an arctic explorer.
The experienced adventurer was talking from first-hand experience – his expeditions include the first British traverse of the Penny Ice Cap on Baffin Island, Canada.
After learning about the arctic environment and survival techniques, some of the children got to try on an explorer’s clothes and pull a loaded sledge.
